2013 saw a lot of changes in my garage. Bikes came and went and riding adventures were had. Only my second season in Chicago, the ball got rolling in a big way.
If necessity is the mother of invention, then ambition is the mother of skill acquisition. With an inspiring design in mind, I set out to create a custom solo seat and tail for my 1983 Honda G1100.
This bike may prove the most challenging one yet, just because it’s in such rough shape. Yet if that weren’t enough, I want to ride this bike but at 6′ 3″ a Trail 70 isn’t exactly a me-sized bike.
